The Fafunwa Educational Foundation (FEF) cordially invites the University community and public to its 21st Annual Lecture, with the theme “Revamping Nigeria’s Vocational and Technical Education for Economic Development”.

Annual Post Doctoral Seminar and Award in Education
The Award is for the best PhD thesis in Education from the top Universities in Nigeria. The award was conceived to reward excellence and encourage participation in the field of education. The prizes are N350k, N250k, and N150k for first, second, and third place.
Leading Faculties of Education in Nigeria submit what they consider to be the best thesis from their institution. The foundation uses external assessors to determine the winning entries. Winners participate in the Annual Lecture where they summarize their dissertations and are presented with certificates of award.

The Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit making organization founded in January 1995 by the late Emeritus Professor Aliu Babatunde Fafunwa, CON, NNOM, the first Nigerian Professor of Education and former Minister of Education and Youth Development.
